Where have you seen Cobra engine trans combos for that cheap? Thats really an amazing deal.

I know a while back you could get the N/A 4 valve engines from Panzo for really cheap but recently that prices has jumped because Panoz doesn't have many/any of them left.

your GT engine will hold 400rwhp or a bit more with a good tune.

Im guessing thats about 300more whp than you can handle judging by your posts so you are ok as it is.

How much money do you plan on throwing at this?

Because if you take your GT(worth about 8k) and find a 03 Cobra engine/trans for 6.5k then get it installed (2k) with the supporting fuel modifications (~$500).

Right there you are at $17k

Here is one for sale close to where I live for 18.5k and its the real deal. It will resell higher than the GT with the swap will and it will be significantly easier. Not only that it handles and looks better than a GT

Also there is something special about owing the real thing

I know a guy that is selling an 04 cobra motor for 6500. it only has 650 miles on it and comes with headers, an extra supercharger, the wiring harness, ecu and the 6 speed and a programmer of some sort.
