But in reality,(and don't take this the wrong way, b/c I know you are busy) you don't really make it to the track much. I try to get to the track at least 2 times a month. If I was only going to the track one time every 6-8 weeks, I would sell my car fast as **** and buy a Vette or a bike.
I love my car to death, but not being able to use it for what it was built for would be the end of the line for me.
true. I hardly ever drive it. I had to deliver a policy to a Ford nut today that had a Lightning and his wife has a mustang. I was telling him about my car when I wrote the policy and he wanted me to bring it by and take him for a ride. I took it to work today and went to his house. He fell in love with it, we went to go for a ride and I reached back and opened the bottle and I had 200-300 psi. I had just filled it after I got back from the track like 2 months ago, only opened it once for a quick hit (maybe 2 gears) and now all my NOS leaked out. I was so pissed. I assume my valve went bad because the bottle was closed. If I get a change I'll take it to a scuba shop and have them test it out.
I took him for a NA ride and he was shocked at how fast it is, his hand were shaking when we got out the car, it was funny as hell.
