Default Borla Stingers or SLP 2???

I'm undecided on which cat back to go with. Right now I'm in the process of overhaulin my 4.6 motor due a spun rod bearing. So I wanna change my exhuast. I'm gunna run Bassani Mid-Length headers with a Bassani Catted X-pipe. So I jus need sum opinions on what cat back to go with.

I think Stingers sound way better then LM2 IMO. I think you should look into finishing that setup with a Bassani CB...you won't regret either decision.

99 gt verts car sounds a lot better than I expected..

it's a bit raspier than my o/r H with stingers (he has o/r H with LM II's by the way) but its definately loud

perhaps a bit louder than mine, but if at all, its a tiny bit...

he also has an auto, so it's hard to tell which sounds better running through 5K when you're not WOT.. though i'd bet its stingers ;-)

they're two different sounds though, even if people say that they sound a lot alike..

Depends on how loud you want it... I have had my BORLA catback on my GT and now my Mach and wouldnt change it for anything! SLP is too loud and raspy IMO.

Just buy the mufflers you want and have them welded in! Spending $400+ on a catback is a waste IMO.

Stingers over LM2's any day. The stingers are deeper and have less rasp.

Stinger FTW!!! I also would agree that if you would just get Bassani mids, catted x, and catback that it would sound better than sex. My ultimate vote would have to be Bassani though.

Only downfall there is some people need the 2 1/2" exhaust not the stock 2 1/4"

I've had my Borla Stingers on my GT for almost 2 years now. I made a thread just like this one about 2 weeks ago contemplating the switch. I've made up my mind though that the Borla is going to stay on the car for sure. They sound amazing with an off road mid and longtubes.

MVR's car sounds really good though with the LM2's. Pretty sure hes running the same set-up I am as far as a midpipe goes, but I have the SLP longtubes.

Edit: Do some searching on YouTube. There are a ton of vid's on there of both set-ups that will help.
