he's trapping so high because of his spinning.

once his 60' comes back down to earth, he'll be in the 102-103 range, which is where he ought to be.

I do the opposite, I trap like **** and run 13.6's where he's 14.1@105.

a big part of me wants to buy lower control arms before drag radials though.

they are just much more practical (i.e. can be used 24/7)

word on that , i actually gain on my trap speed when i go to slicks not bye much but on street tires i baby it out of the hole and get a 2.1 60' and my best pass on street rubber was a 14.49 at 95.11... then I put the slicks on 16" et streets and warmed them up launched the **** out of it and got a 1.79 60'... and the time in my sig ... we had a 15mph constant headwind what does that do to mph ? my best in calm wind without my steeda pullies was 96.47mph?

get the lakewood control arms , they are bad *** , my friend put them on his o4 cobra with a solid rear and he went from a 1.78 60' to a 1.44 at the same launch rpm...I run a full slick not a dr warming up them evenly is always a problem and think when you take off if one spins then grabs good pop goes an axle.. I run a full slick and 31 spline gear...

thanks stacy532, i'm looking at getting them now.

99 GT vert and i were working on our cars tonight and it looks like bolt on SFC's were once in place, so maybe I do have something else done to my car that i have no idea. I doubt it though.
