how do you get the idle control valve off the plenum?? i took off the three bolts but it is stuck on.

there should be only two bolts that hold it on. And once there out it should almost fall off.

Take a pic of what you took off. You might be taking the wrong part off.

It mounts to the side with two bolts... like so.

+1, there's nothing I am aware of that fastens to the upper plenum with 3 screws...

If the 2 screws are out grab it and wiggle it it should come right off
