At the time it was BBK Lts, BBK o/r X, and a magnaflow catback.

My tune was complete and utter garbage though, espcially down low. I probably would have had equal/better TQ than before with a decent a/f ratio before 4000 RPM, as it was I was seeing like 15.5:1 at 2500

edit: With those kinds of gains, what are the estimates before/after if it was on a dynojet? 40 WHP is nuts for just cams on a stock head/intake car, it must be a great cam and tune.

My Dynojet numbers before were 262/299 so I would expect to see ~300/315 after the cams. A 40 rwhp gain is on the high side, but not unheard of from these cams. I went with these cams not for the dyno numbers I've seen, but because I think they are un-matched in track performance. There are other cams making similiar numbers on the dyno but I've not seen them relate to the track. The Hi-Tech Stage II cams come to mind. Lots of impressive dyno numbers but I have yet to see them backed up on the track.

I would sure look into your tune ...something is not right.

That was way back in the day, before I went with the vortech kit etc, so that tune is long gone. However, 300 WHP on a stock head/intake 2v is pretty nuts with just cams, most people see in the 280-290 range.

Must be a great cam and great tune. I am interested to see how your track numbers improve.

I would also like to see some track #'s for the Hi-Tech cams. Anybody?

Yes, all stock except for the cams and valve springs.
