Anyone have electric cutouts? I'm looking at the QTP duals from http://fasttoys.net/shop/product_inf...roducts_id=909 Anyone have experience with cutouts or those in specific?

 

On a Rat Rod maybe, i just can't see putting them on your stang. That's just me though!!! Everyone has their own opinion.

 

I thought about it for at the racetrack (when you are beside a louda$$ open header car it would be nice to know if your car is running lol) but they seem like they would be fine if installed correctly

 

Its pretty much you get what you pay for. The one you're looking at seems to be a higher end one. I've heard some guys that buy cheaper setups and they leak and cause problems. Not sure if I'd run it open a lot, but it would be nice to open them now and then when next to someone at a stoplight.

 

they are awesome on lsx cars but not on mustangs. i would spend your money elsewhere. and the qtp ones like to get stuck

 

4.6's dont sound very good with open headers. I have cutouts on my car and I think they sound horrible. Like an old farm truck. I probably haven't opened them 5 times in the 1+year I've had them.

 

then I dont think I'll be getting them, just replacing my 6 cats with 2 highflow ones.

 

LM1's sound SOOOoooo much better at WOT than Open headers.

 

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, it seems the faster cars are looking at ways to quiet down their cars, while the slower ones are trying to make them louder.

cutouts suck on a 4.6 unless you have some mean blower cams, and you can hear the slow lope.

Hell, I'm thinking of going with pro dumps , and using the tailpipes from a non-IRS equipped stang to trip people out (just from the gas tank back)
