Default consindering stroking motor

i'm thinking of modding the motor to include patriot stage 2 heads, comp stage 2 cams, valve springs, manley .20 over pistons and rings, rods.

is this a good combo? i want a kick *** sort of daily driver. and nos will come later.
how much more power will this give me? i make 258 rwhp now.

thanks

I think that sounds like a sound combination. I would reconsider the patriot heads. I have heard just too many complaints about them. I would suggest, Foxlake(best IMHO) or MMR(did my heads). I see you have a camry but, are looking for a "kick *** sort of DD." If you really want to DD your car, I would choose the cams carefully. If you are looking for a fun car that is DEF streetable, I would go a bit wilder. Just my opinion though. Hope that help.

P.S. If you do internals, forged all the way, esp. if you thinking juice will come later.

Forged internals is a great idea but don't stroke it. That's a waste of money.

If I had to do it all over again, I'd go with bigger cams. Check out the big Crower cams.

+1, it just adds to the stress on everything, not at all worth it

On that set up go with a 11cc piston. Forge everthing on the bottom in and the heads will come with springs.Dont forget about the headers. Should be around 315 hp.Then beef up the rear end with some 15 inch lite rim with skinny up front. Put some subframe conn. on too. Then if you want to loose some more weight do a k-member and aluminum driveshaft. Then spray the house down.
