Is that company rating the motor at Flywheel horsepower? or Wheel Horsepower....

the first one that says 300hp is stock heads, stock Cams, just higher compression bottom end....... soo, im willing to bet its not WHP... Unless raising Compression Alone gives you 80whp....(over new edge).

to tell you the truth, i would just save up some more money and buy the 400hp model. it comes with everything upgraded like an aluminum intake manifold and a BBK 78mm throttle intake combo, and an aluminum block too. so not only will you be making about 340rwhp but you will be lighter than stock too. stage 3 heads and stage 2 cams and all that stuff...i would definatly just save for the better engine package and it also comes with a forged crank too so if he would want to run nitrous later, he could do so without having to upgrade stuff. so i would say just wait and save up more. but if you want to go ahead and get that motor, it will be like night and day difference and wont be disappointed either way.
