Default good run at the strip

alright, so today was the quartermile for a cure at the Southwestern International raceway, figured I'd post the slip from the one damn run I got in.

anyway, I got some other stuff to do, but here it is. I was in the left lane, running my 580rwhp tune, swapped the pulleys when I got to the track, and I was running a stock 03 GT in the next lane.

OH, and btw, this was leaving off of idle on street tires

R/T .120
60' 1.737
330 4.763
1/8 7.207
mph 101.63
10000 9.303
1/4 11.077
mph 126.87

rofl! straight up powered through the 60' and carried the power all the way to the traps. 25mph in the back 1/8th is almost like what a turbo car does. that thing hauls!

nice - would have been real stout with some tires and a launch.

it wasn't a launch at all, I literally left off of idle and didn't even see full boost in first gear.

very nice run but what kind of street tire was it? I assume it was at the least a drag radial?? On a side note, are we going to make a drag racer out of you or was it just too boring?

BFG T/A KD's, regular street tire, 275/40/17

oh, and it was by far the most boring 7 hours of my life. We got there around 7:30, made the one pass at ~10:30, and then at 1:00PM they announced it was going to be another hour or two before we got another run in, so I was like screw it, and left.

u need to be a pro drag racer then.. a 1.7 on a street radial is amazing.. especially with almost 600hp

It's all in the IRS man, thing hooks like a beast even on street tires, I actually have to conciously try to spin.

happen to have a link to your set-up or could you make a list? I was just wondering what you've got?
