right, because every problem is operator error. Right. Yes I followed the instructions, even used a tq wrench. I used hi-temp RTV (the copper kind, right? Because I'm dumb). Used NEW MLS gaskets, new ARP header bolts, and the heads had less than 5k on them. The flanges are so warped that they're pulling the header bolts out after a year of use.

My next set are going to be installed with the motor out of the car. Burn me once, shame on you... not gonna be a second time.

Sounds like your non-locking bolts backed out and cause the flange to warp. Very common when bolts don't stay tight. If the flange is straight when installed and the bolts stay tight you won't have warpage. Stage 8 lockers are what I use on every header install. Never had any back out, no blown gaskets or warped flanges.

I may try a set as I heard good things from guys I respect, JayC and Anthony on www.mustangmotorworld.com among others. I was told to simply use better hardware than what is supplied, thicker "dead-soft" type gaskets and the bolts described by Jay. If you can afford KOOKS go ahead, my cash is headed towards the TFS heads! My only concern is the Flows are not supposed to be used on a new motor break in and that is what they would be doing on my motor. Maybe a set ofHookers if I get the extra cash but the Flows are a good deal IMHO and as stated others with actual experience.

I have them on my car, and I put them in. They seem to flow great, and i had no major fitment issues. My major complaint is that they are rusting. I bought mine off a guy NIB for ~$200, it was too god of a deal to pass up.
