Default Comp Vs VT vs Hitech Cams

Numbers, lets see em!

I may be coming into some money soon.. cams are the next logical step. Im thinking stage 2..

Post your numbers up; not worried about times because, not everyone has the same suspension/weight so power is what im lookin for.

I don't recall ever reading anything bad about Comp Cams. It might be best to get custom ground cams.....

I want cams too.

I have aftermarket cams but they are stage 1's and that's really not what you were asking for.

Anyways with my CMS stage 1 I am putting down 287 or 283 I don't remember, and my tuner lost the sheet.

Stage 1s are not out of the question yet. if its a huge gap in numbers i think 400 extra to upgrade my sniper to commando and buy valve springs wold be worth it

Why not stage2 cushman? You'll need springs to be safe anyway...

When I was at Hi-tech a few months ago, Casey was showing me a dyno sheet of their cams over comp cams(same stage, 2 I believe). Anyways he claims it was the only thing changed on the car and it made at least 20rwhp over the comp cams all the way through the power band.

I like the hitechs because they give more to the intake side.. im just wanting to see what ppl have produced with theirs personally, ya know. I have a sneaking suspicion the hitechs are superior tho..
