Get ceramic coated headers if you're worried about heat in the engine compartment or increasing the scavanging effect of the headers.

so if u can't wrap anything on anything other than a track car, you can't wrap any turbo piping either if a guy had a car sith a turbo setup on it?

Most of the guys that wrap their turbo headers are import guys where the headers don't go under the car.

Even with the coating the wrap gets gets soaked with water and stays traped in there rusting the pipes on cars where the headers go below the engine.

i meant where guys mount their turbos in front of the engine between it and the radiator and then usually wrap the downpipe

but how would water collect if the headers are still hot enough to evap the water?

Shifter Gasket not needed but is nice to have. I made mine with gasket material and just traced around and cut out the needed holes.
And I know a few people have already told you this but I can't believe you put that header wrap on your car because you seen a few cars on youtube. Haven't you been around here long enough to know if the Import guys are doing it is the wrong thing to do.
If I read into your posts correctly you have no intention of taking the wrap off. I promises you will be sorry later.
