Default check this out! (mods im getting)

i have LTs with the high heat wrap on them in my garage. also have a pro 5.0 shifter coming to me in the mail.

i am gunna commit to getting the following tomorrow.

mid pipe by pypes
aluminum header gasket by percys
shifter base and handle gasket from american muscle

everything should b installed by next week. so what do u guys think?

header wrap is a bad idea. Sounds like you spent some good coin and have alot of work ahead of you. Just don't expect any big hp gains.

Take that wrap off the headers ASAP. That **** is race car only use. Useing that on a daily driver and driving through rain will cause those headers to rust through in a year.

i just spent 140 on that **** and one header is already done the other has a tube and half done. idk if im inlove with the idea of taking it off lol

A $140 loss is better then $400+ for new headers.

i learned something new today

that really sucks about the wrap.. def take it off than... not worth it

Header wrap is a PITA! It's not the 70's & 80's. You will be kicking yourself in that *** if you go that rout.

i already did go that route!!

and do i need a gasket for the collecter on the LTs?

I wrapped a set on my DD a couple years back.... not a good idea, they cracked, and they will rust underneath if you live anywhere other than Vegas. lol.
