well summit is running theirs for 99.50 for both lowers and uppers and i would get strange 10 ways. they seem to be one of the best options that ive come accross. but those are 2 of the things that im getting for christmas. and also while you have the control arms out, you should go ahead and get some of UPR's spherical housing bushings. they dont hold the energy that the stock rubbers do so that will allow you to hook better too and allow your suspesion react better.

Not to counteract teej, but also decide what you want overall out of the car. If you want a comfortable daily driver, spherical bearings aren't necessarily for you. As far as performance, they're great. There is no give, so they transfer power better and usually lead to more consistant times. They are also easily serviceable. But since there's no give, you're going to feel everything on the street. I'm going with sphericals because I'd rather have the performance, but they're not for everyone.

sphericals give more than the rubber bushings...thats why they are better. so they shouldnt ride worse. they dont hold the energy like the rubber ones do. they react by allowing the back to sink better. so therefore, they should ride better in theory. or at least thats what i think would happen. dont know if im running on hopes and dreams on that one but that just seemed logical to me. softer rear end allows for better launches and better weight changes.

No, a spherical setup is metal on metal. It allows immediate power transfer, which is what you want for a good launch. And your car squatting is actually loosing time, your taking your horsepower, and for that instant, using it to compress your rear suspension. If you watch what a well set up car does on the line, they don't sink, they just get up and go. Your front and rear suspension need to work together to transfer weight and plant the tires while taking away as little power as possible. But to the OP, this does mean that no matter how much suspension work you do, your ultimately limited by how much your tires can hold. Suspension is going to help alot, but if you don't have them already, look into so DRs.
