I just ordered a D1-sc kit with all the bells and whistles from rpmoutlet last week. I had them on one phone and another performance shop on another phone. They went back and forth dropping their price until the performance shop guy couldn't go any lower but rpmoutlet still did. When it was all said and done rpm dropped $400 off the price of the kit and free shippping. I even called back 20 min later and added a few suspension things and he added them to the other order and still got free shipping.

Let me know how the completed transaction goes (as in everything arrives and you are satisfied). It would take a few testimonials to convince me they are worth giving a second shot too.

Speaking of which I just visited their website. I'm still not big on the claims they put with all of their packages (Add XX HP). They seem a bit more realistic than the past but some are still a bit farf etched IMO.

Sorry to OP not trying to hijack the thread

Anyways, talk to your CC company and see if they will allow a foreign transaction.

That doesnt mean ****....what happens when you go to install the kit and have problems....call them up and see how they help you. They have always had the best prices on things. Thats why so many people who dont know anything about their car and are just getting into the game buy from there.

I am wanting to buy some cams and springs for my car. right now i can save 300-400 buying the parts from RPM instead of brenspeed. That is soo tempting. But brenspeed would be doing the install anyway. I would rather just pay them a little extra and show my support to them than risk getting sent the wrong product from RPM and then have to take 3 weeks and a restocking fee charged for their **** up.

There are tons of threads with problems in the past with RPM in the 2005+ section. If they have actually turned their company around, good for them. I still wouldnt risk it and wont recommend it to anyone.

You should e-mail Brenspeed or Bama and see what other suggestions they have for accepting payment.

Well the las major purchase I made with rpm was an F1A kit and got exactly what I ordered and it only took 8 days to get it. Time before that was my SLP catback which the emailed me to tell me it was on backorder. I had my dad call them and explain I was only coming home from Iraq for a few weeks and wanted the catback there when I was there and they got the catback to my house 3 days later. I have been nothing but impressed with rpm.

To the OP if you want a true custom tune and don't have a dyno tuner around you then get sniper. SCT and diablo "custom" tunes are not custom they are canned.

If they fired the ones causing the trouble they must have fired everyone from customer service to shipping. Shipping substituted cheaper parts. Customer service wouldn't answer the phone. Management promised a return authorization twice, but never sent it. And, the receiving dock refused delivery of the return the first time and I had to send it back at my cost twice. They have a no money back policy, only credit on account and they charge a restocking fee if you cancel the order on backordered items even if they have no idea of when they can deliver it.

The ProCharger kits were probably dropped shipped from ProCharger to you.

It's going to take a lot of testimony of good service from a lot of people before I will buy from them again.
