Default Just a little update

Ok so the car has been started and sounds bad ***. I am having trouble just getting the idle tune nailed down so I't not idleing perfect yet which is why I have not posted a video yet.

I learned something new with this build. The 03-04 GT computers will not accept the full maf function for a PMAS maf. I tried everything on my own and the car would barely idle casue it was either too rich or too lean. So I broke down and called PMAS. The guy there explained to me what was going on and help me try different tunes and we finialy got it to idle around 14.7 a/f ratio. But it still likes to jump around between lean and rich so I think the plugs are all fouled from the first failed tunes. I will pull them tomorrow and clean them.

Also my mishimoto radiator is leaking like crazy. I guess thats what I get for going cheap.

Some cool things tho are the blower is nice and loud, you can feel the exhaust coming out of the pipes from about 10 feet away and the blow off is loud as hell. I ran it up to 2500 and let it blow off and it blew a poster off the wall of the garage. The funny thing is the blow off is on the driver side facing the passenger side and it still took down the poster (on the passenger side). By the way at 2500rpms in neutral I was seeing 3lbs of boost

Sounds fun, and yeah, the radiator thing is why I went with Fluidyne. It was less than $500 and keeps my car cool even in 110+* weather.

And yeah, tuning sucks *** at first. One of the biggest reasons I went with FAST, I could do it myself, and it eliminated the FORD PCM which sucks *** to tune on from what I remember.

The BOV is pretty cool, I've always loved the sound of them. Good luck with the tuning.

Hopefully you won't have to go to a standalone unit, I just decided early in the game, why deal with ford BS

Nice!!! Did you go with a Built 3650 from Promotion powertrain or a MMR 900 transmission?? I remember you talking about both but never herd what you went with.

Neither. I am going to wait till the stocker melts down then I'm switching to auto. I had a promotion 3650 but sold it before install cause it would not have been strong enough.

I know you're really into the Sniper software, but have you ever looked into an Anderson PMS? I've looked at them before, they look pretty nice, and I believe they can run either as a piggyback, or as a standalone through the factory unit. I think it'll cost you around $1500 if I remember, but it's alot cheaper than going with a FAST system from what i've seen.

You have an SLP exhaust correct? Do you have SLP headers too?
