Kenne bell superchargers come with an intercooler. Its just the intercooler is underneath the supercharger. And if you want better cooling, you are going to want a heat exchanger. The intercooler that comes with twin screw blowers are air to water intercoolers and there is a tank that goes up close to the radiator that holds the coolant that circulates into the intercooler. the heat exchanger acts like a radiator for the intercooler coolant and cools the coolant. So thats what you want. I think that info is correct.

I would say anything above 12+ psi you should be starting to have an intercooler. I know people run around 12 maybe 14 max without one. If you were running 6-8 psi you wouldn't need one but I would go for it at 13 psi.

First of all, yes, intercooler is definately needed, and I believe that the KB kits at that pressure do come intercooled, but I could be wrong. Second, do you have forged internals?
