Makes your life 10000000x easier is what it does. I cant belive sniper didnt make tune recollection this way to begin with. Basically the scrape program keeps track of everything you input for a tune and can be recalled and compared all in one nice and easy package.

Basically...Cliff PWNED sniper...

I've read it before, and just let me know if I've got this right. The Sniper software does not save your fine adjustment settings when you save a tune, it sets your fine tuning as the new zero values. Cliff's program allows me to recall what my fine tuning values were, correct?

Just something else to ask about, I believe I've heard that Recon does not have an aux. input for datalogging wideband AFR. Is this true?

In addition to the fine tuning parameters SF does not save traction control, EGR status, and returnless fuel pressure (don't know why on these). My app does save these, in addition to the finetuning parameters, and lets you restore them and document the tunes.

Recon uses the programming interface to gather PID information, it has no other inputs.

I understand why they did this (I think), but it is a PITA to have to re-enter the unsaved parameters--that's why I wrote SFScrape.exe. The "scrape" part is from the old days (late 60s and 70s/80s) when we captured information from smart terminals via "screen scraping"...

BTW - if you are even thinking about Innovate's OT-1 then STOP. It is a POS that cannot even log RPM only without dropouts, and even messes up the instrument cluster display in the process. I have had one since August and Innovate will not return phone calls or even respond to my "calling them out" on their forum. The OT-1 is an unsupported and dead/dud product...

I had not looked into the OT-1. What is a good unit, I've heard alot of good things about Innovate, but I haven't heard anything on that model. I had looked at the fast dual wideband before, but don't know if it's worth the money.

I have the LC-1/G2 set (also from eBay for $200 or so) and am very pleased with it, I had hoped to be able to log at least rpm and AFR with the OT-1 but it's a no-go and Innovate doesn't seem to care...
