a big pain, headers themselves are a pain. Only time, ive ever really been pissed off working on my car, was when i was putting the LT's on.

your wasting your money if u get shorties... you will only see gains in upper rpms...right when you fall OUT of the power band. they dont help sound either.

most people on here will tell you if your going to bother with headers at all, go with long tubes.

its not necessarily that argument for me anyways.. its just all about where you want all your power. If i had a centry, i would want some big shorties so i get that gain while im at full boost spinning to 6500. but if im just boltons i want low end grunt.

i have the shorties and I think they are a great compromise between stock and lt, and you might want to plan on future mods before making the decision to go to lt. If you plan on dropping your car i have heard on this forum that it is a pain in the *** getting around without scraping. Plus the bbk's are equal length shorties which help reproduce some of the scavaging effect of the lt which give them their low end grunt.
