Default pi swap help

hey I was just wondering how difficult it would be to swap the heads and intake on my 96 gt. Will I need anything else besides the new heads and intake? Anything to difficult?

It's easier to swap to a PI engine and get some years back on the engine as well.

i made a list of what i need, im swapping mine over soon, i have ported pi haeds coming in the mail as we speak (type). Im using a few of my gaskets over again becuase i just did cams about 2 months ago, and those gaskets are a lot of money.

this is what i have so far:
coolant tube (under the intake)
nipple (for above)
head gaskets
head bolts (im getting the felpro ones becuase its a difference of 250 dollars...)
rtv sealant
pulley puller(renting from autozone)
injector o rings
tap and die set (extra sensor)
drill and bits
extra coolant and oil
intake gaskets
alt. bracket (im using my same one again becuase i hear you can modify it to work by bending it and drilling it out)

the gaskets im using over are these:
timing chain gaskets
valve cover gaskets
thermostat gasket

It's much simpler if you get a set of romeo heads (01-04). If you get a set of 99-00 heads then you'll need valve covers that fit those heads and you'll need to change some of the timing cover bolts to a bigger size, plus the stuff stangalator has posted. If your npi intake has the aluminum crossover then you can just swap it to the pi intake w/o having to drill/tap the pi crossover.

chris98gt, your car setup is what im shooting for in the next two years, the procharger is the part ill save up for, i thought about selling the stang one day and just buying a 04 cobra, but i do like having people who know mustangs, to be surprised when the stop light turns green =)
