Default 98 mustang

Hi guys I have been looking at buying a used Mustang for a while now and came across a 98 GT with a paxton novi-2000 supercharger in it. the car has 92,000 miles on it very good cond inside and out other than the bumpers fading from the florida sun. is 6500 a good price for this and does the supercharger cause alot of engine damage. I never had a car with this set up and should it be preety noticible when driving and will it kill my gas mileage.
Thanks Hunter

Depends on the condition of the internals. Do a compression and a leak down and if all checks out then I'd say yes.,

yeah $6500 bucks isnt too bad if its in nice shape and supercharged. I paid $7000 for mine about 3 years ago with 66k miles on but no s/c

But being supercharged, its probably been drove pretty hard..Hopefully the last owner kept up on the maintenance. And yes driving a supercharged car is noticeable, you'll have alot more power. gas mileage will probably suck if you have a lead foot.

If it's tuned right the supercharger won't do any harm to the internals, and if you stay out of the boost the gas wont hurt so much either.

I didn't notice those in there. He's talking about the orange top fuel injectors that are factory on that car. I wouldnt think that it could get enough fuel to keep the air/fuel safe, and it's prolly got the stock pump aswell if they didnt change injectors. Although it has a fmu so idk if that allows the use of factory injectos or not. I used 42# injectors and a 255lph fuel pump.

I would pass on this GT unless you can get down about $1k...being that it has the stock 19# injectors, who knows what else has been done to it!
