Default Turn Downs

Has anyone turned them down after the axle? cut factory pipe after it bends over the axle! Or should i just do the regular turn down after muffler? Which would sound better?

I did that with my slp cat back before i got flows. But now with the flows it's just dumped right out of the mufflers. With flows dumped right out of the mufflers sounds better just turn them alittle sideways towards the tire.

sounds good.

I have o/r x and 40 series flows. I already cut the pipe off. its really loud inside. Alot quieter than tips out the back (from the outside) But the tone is alot nicer more on the deeper/lower end........ not raspy,. That's why i was wondering if the bend makes a difference......
