i throw it in neutral and coast to my house most of the way in my neighborhood. you don't **** where you eat.

 

You really need to be careful of those mustang sportcars.
I always have people in my neighborhood complaining about my car and I'm catted so it must be fun for the dudes with O/R pipes.
I'd love to go lower but I have to deal with 4 speed bumps each way in my neighborhood.

 

The exact same thing here... there's a guy a couple houses down with a c5 vette thats loud as ****, and a ricer with some fart can acura. There's another guy with a 60's GTO who always has a bunch of teenagers around his house that really do speed and go drink in the empty lot. One day I was driving down the road and one of the idiots almost had a head on collision with me because he was driving in the middle of the road!
But since he was driving some quiet POS truck he did nothing wrong.

 

yeah everyone is like that at my apartment complex too, I try to go 10 in second gear to keep my car as quiet as possible but there are always some neighbors that complain, once they even called the cops, its them who speed and haul *** down the road but whatever the day my lease is over im gonna put some rubber down when i leave.

 

+1 Exactly. F**king around near your house is a good way to get your car keyed. Or worse yet, hit a child. When some of you grow up and have kids of your own you'll understand.

 

lol that sucks, my idiot neighbor told me to "slow the f**k down" as i entered the neighborhood one day. So i stopped and reved in his face and continued on my way, that pissed him off and he wanted to start a fight. i asked him how fast i was going, and he said i was going 15mph, which IS the speed limit of the neighborhood.....shut him up pretty good when i slapped the speed limit sign in his face showing him that i WAS going speed limit

the next day i see dodge charger cop cars driving around my neighborhood...

 

some people will always do that.
I had a guy yell at me in our old cummins diesel just because it made a racket.
"SLOW DOWWWWN!" I was going 15mph in a residential zone. I stopped to get out and let him know just all the ways he had failed everyone he loved.......

similarly last year I had an old lady yell at me while on my way to work. funny part, I was in my elantra which has a slight exhaust leak so it just ticks a little. not my fault her senile old *** was j-walking across a major street. I wasnt speeding, I just didnt slow dow for her stupid *** , and i didnt need to, she was a good 60 yards ahead of me when i turned onto the street, and crossed before i was 20 yards to her. she glared and pointed at a speed sign.

i feel ur pain. sometimes it would be nice to save people from their own idiocy

 

LOL good ****, the funny part is, my dumbass neighbor tells me to slow down, while he takes out his dirt bike and rides around the neighborhood like its some track, setting up cones on the streets, blocks traffic as his stupidass kids run around and play on the streets when theres a park not even 1 min away from his house...

 

just be careful your car doesnt get keyed or anything....a lot of **** has been showing up in my car for no reason, I used to have a z3 and someone slashed my tire, didnt notice and ended up totaling the car that day, people are just dumb, and very jealous.

 

my old 74 pontiac had a nice 400ci and O/R pipes....it was loud as **** just idling. i got a lot of 'slow down's in it to.

however i did take a hard right turn and got it sideways at WOT and a cop was about 100 feet down the road coming at me...he gave me the thumbs up
