Ok sorry for the rant but...
lately people in my neighborhood have been bitching about people speeding. (btw I live at the end of a dead end street with 25mph. speed limit). I heard about this and was like ok no big deal I don't speed there anyways.

They have asked for cops to check for speeders on the street and have even suggested speed-bumps... which would suck

Well, today I heard from a person I know at the other end of the neighborhood that someone has been saying that part of the reason for the bitching was because quote "a mustang sportscar" yes they called it a "sportscar" lol that has been speeding down the street.

I am the only person on the street with a mustang of any kind so you know who they are talking about. THIS REALLY PISSED ME OFF!!! I am always considerate when driving down the street, drive the speed limit and always look out for kids, while trying to keep the exhaust noise down as well. I guess they just hear my car and think I'm speeding. However, it's the soccer moms in there minivans that are the real speeders.

Anyways, just wanted to vent. I'm contemplating leaving my car in 1st gear and cruising at 15mph next time and they will probably think I'm going 80mph...haha

what sucks is here if you pay the 50-100 dollars you can have a speed bump put on your street!!! when i lived in richmond ky the would make them almost 3 inches tall and some of them are over 2 feet wide and there down every damn street!!

 

they just put in some sort of speedbump crosswalks here at school...you feel like you are driving over mt. everest. I bottomed out in my gfs old taurus...wtf

but yeah I feel your pain. I was at the grocery store a few months ago and some old guy one of the "cart wranglers" flipped out because I blipped the throttle in first gear and it revved a little. He thought I was speeding and yelled out for me to slow down.

 

LOL I had a neighbor complain about me and all my mustang friends. He said were were racing down the street and the cops talked to me about it. I always yell at my friends for hauling *** down my street so they know not to and I never speed down my street. I was so pissed about it that I tested my linelock in front of his house. Never had another complaint.

 

find out what neighbor it was and bounce the rev limiter a couple of times at 3 in the mornin.

everyone in my neighborhood is like that too..hell everyone in my town lol. they hear the noise and think you're goin 100mph even though your doin like 30. but i just say screw them, me and my buddy's are always burnin out on my street with our stangs lol...really pisses off the neighbors

 

I guess I am lucky because all the couples that live on my street are in their mid-50's and all the husbands are always stopping by as they walk with there wives checking out the mustang and telling old stories about the cars they used to have. I had about five in my driveway attempting to help me install my MAC cat back because they couldn't wait to hear me start it!!
