haha but everyone thinks they can drive... i hate going to the track and seeing mustangs running crap times. the only good that comes out of it is that the ricers then think they can hang. there really should be more n/a mustangs in the 12's.

On the flip side of that coin though, there are way too many people that take 13.9 as the 'norm' for a 99-04 GT..... as I've seen in this thread.

I went 14.545@99.37 with a 2.226 60' my first time to the track *best of the night* that was with 4.10's, O/r H, catback and no driver mod.

Same mods + DR's = 13.6's...perhaps with a bit left in it since i don't powershift *or even close to it* 1-2 and 2-3...

The CAR IS CAPABLE of 13.9s stock(even 13.7 as dimbag did).. whether YOU can or cant do it is not up for debate.. hes wandering if those mods CAN get his car into the 12s..

i've noticed its all in the suspension. like everyone else said its not about hp. even though the bolt ons are fun to do they just dont help, fox springs..good tires and some control arms and 4.10's will help more than anything besides a s/c or full out race suspension

with some good tires you could easily get 12s. there is a guy that has some weight reduction done, suspension and 4.10s, full bolt0ons and CAMS ONLY going 12.1X
