That where I fail. Last time I went to the track (with alot less mods than I have now) I trapped 103 but had a 9.1-9.3 1/8th because my car can't grip at Orlando Spinworld.

My car always ran the fastest my first run (when it was hot from the drive down)

I'd be happy with that time considering the 60'....

You've got some more traction, and obviously much better ETs coming with a simple set of DRs *or maybe a bit of time in some street radials*....

My car with those mods + 4.10's goes about the same sort of times with 2.3 60's and it's in the 13.6 range now, plus your're trapping about as well as I do too!

My first run was the 2.1X 60'. I always let my car cool down before the 1st run. I let it get right above the bottom notch on the temp gauge before I run it the first time.

My buddy might be letting me borrow his 315 Nitto DR's when we head out, but for now it will just be a set of 255.45.17 street tires, front sway bar removed, passenger seat removed, rear seat removed, spare/jack removed, 38 PSI in front tires and 26 in rear.

I weigh about 260 or so (I'm 6'6") so I can only get it so light lol. If I weighed as little as some of my buddies, I would've been in the 13's a long time ago.

just learn to feel the car out man, and you'll be fine. From what I've seen, there are numerous people on the board who think going down the track is as simple as flooring it, IDk if that's what your doing, but even with a stock GT, you have to use some throttle control.

I know it sounds retarded, but I'd suggest getting into Auto-x a little to help you learn what your car feels like on the edge of traction, that way you can judge at the strip just how much throttle you need.

IF you're ever looking for 3.73's or 3.55's for cheap, I might be going down to a set of 3.31's, so just send me a PM and we'll see if we can't work something out.
