Default Is a 4.10 too much for a vortech'd GT?

i currently have a 3.73 in my 02 GT 5speed with a vortech and i was wondering if maybe i should step that up to a 4.10? My 3.73 makes alot of noise thats what im going to swap it out. thanks

They will be fine as long as you have upgraded your suspension. I have 4.10s in my car.

ignore the noise and drive it until its broken...profit?

i would stick with 3.73 if it was my car, but 4.10 wont be "too much"

Go with the 4.10s. I'll be putting in my Vortech in next week.

i would suggest saving up a bit maybe and trying to get a built rear done right with no whine. just so you know it wont break from the extra power you will be putting down. thats just what i would do.

id prob also go with the 4.10's this time

well i already have a built rear and suspension...its just the guy that setup my gear didnt really get it right, some people tell me its not bad, but it annoys me so i wanna change and some people have told me to just put a 4.10 in it since im opening it back up. I have a cobra trac-loc with moser 31 spline axles, LPW girdle, UPR dbl. adj. upper control arms, and UPR solid lowers. Ill be having Hans at Deans Performance installing the gear. If anyone doesnt know him, he is in the chicago area.
