I have the 14" and no real loss in radio reception. Although stations that are already fuzzy may be a little worse

14", 8" is way too short and it kind of stands out. The 14" flows nicely and blends in. I got my 14" for $12 from AM when they had it on sale in december.

Easily a 14"... its basically even with the roof line and it looks a lot better
the 8" is WAYYYYY too short its outta place..
Ha im prob the ONLY guy with a mustang who loves the big wavy antenna... i freakin LOVE it lol

Go 11"....
It is perfact compremise between the two IMO. 100% free with 15 mintues of time to cut and paint the stock unit.

Got mine cut off at 12 inches and ground the tip into a spike.

Dremel FTW. I cut mine at 11", this probably about 12" whit the base.

I like my 8" and I haven't noticed a loss in signal. My buddy has a 14" on his 04 and it looks good too. To each his own.
