a nice new edge gt can be had for 6 if you look hard and find the right person, but thats not an option to everyone....sorry youre so close minded that you cant see that....

and a thousand more dollars may not be a few months working at mcdonalds... i work part time while im in school and only make about 600-800 a month after taxes, and i pay out 400 a month on bills, not including gas....so if i started saving up a grand, it would take quite a while, and i definately do not make minimum wage

and like i already said...idk wtf soap box means

if a thousand dollars was pocket change to everyone, nobody would be driving around $800 beaters as their only transportation...go on craigslist and tell me nobody owns a car thats worth less than a grand
close minded??? Maybe that's you, because HOSS is not talking about what gt you would like. what if the OP doesn't mind a 94-98 GT? He's just making a point that GT's, period, can be found for dirt in decent condition.

the kid didnt ask about 94-98, sorry if youre offended that i dislike your body style...if he was interested in a pre 99 car, im sure he would have mentioned it or looked into it before considering the v6 route

you guys realize a 94-95GT has more potential than a 96-98 right? I wouldn't be including those in my "I wouldn't want to own one years"

I defintely would prefer a New Edge, but there are quite a few SN95 cobra's that are sexier than hell.

Either way OP, like I said, when and if you buy a six, or whatever your looking for, shoot me a PM and we'll see if we can't trade the bumper covers. Hell, I'll even throw in my 4" steeda tips .

i agree they can look good with the right things done to them...like the thread of the guy buying the 98 cobra or the 2000 gt with cams...that cobra looked damn good

and yea the 5.0 has plenty of potential, but i still would not own one... you can always make a car faster, but you cant change the body style...thats just my take on it...but all that aside, if the kid wanted a 94-98, im sure he would not be asking about a 99+ v6 when a clean 94-95 gt can be had for the same price

I think either way it shouldn't matter. Kid's going to buy what' he's going to buy, so arguing in here isn't going to change a damn thing.
