Rear window Tint Problems...

+1000 the place that did my tints was going to put vinyl on the top where the black dots are at.it works perfect,the only reason i didnt do it is because i have 5% tints all around and if i black out the top of the rear window i will be getting pulled over eveyr 5 min.

Can someone post some pics of this alleged "moonstrip" across the OUTSIDE of the window? It just seems to me that a piece of black vinyl across the OUTSIDE TOP of your rear glass would look ridiculous.

i must have misread the whole putting it on the outside but i was told it would work fine if i put in on the inside .

I dont have a close up pic of mine, but what i was saying earlier really only applies if you had 5% or darker on the rear window. I probably wouldnt reccomend it wit like 20% because youre right, it would look wierd.

This pic is actually the windsheild but the "moonstrip" that you see is "solid" black vinyl, so just try to imagine it over 5% tint. From the outside you wouldnt even notice it.




Here's the best pic of the rear that i currently have, but you clearly cant see the vinyl.
