Default Need Some Mod Help...

I'm looking to upgrade in a good way. I don't want any NOS or anything radical like that. I'm looking for maybe bolt on mods and performance parts I can add to my stock 04 GT to get a little more giddy up in the saddle. Please let me know... looking for some inexpensive type things but will eventually go big, so any ideas will help.

please look around the site before posting a question that is put up everyday. There is a link in my sig that will answer a lot of your questions. Use that first, then ask more questions if you need to, I/we all will be happy to help.

BTW NOS is a company, nitrous would be the better term to go with.

EDIT: And please resize the picture in your sig or go over to the S197 section.

well, you already have basic intake and exhaust modifications. you could still use a performance intake manifold, headers, a reflash/tune, cams and valve springs, performance clutch (manual), or rearend gears (higher numerically). after the above, it's either internal engine work or forced induction.

there are plenty of threads and information out there from mild to wild N/A bolt-ons. eventually, it boils down to how fast you want to go, and how much money you will spend.

i think everyone will agree that gears is the way to go to wake these cars up a bit when you dont have much to spend.

Tell me about it, I'm ordering a 31 spline setup and gears this week. But if you wanna wake your car up, a set of gears or some N2O are your cheapest options for a big bump.

well a gears kit would run you a couple hundred bucks.you dont need to do the axles, differential if your only throwing a set of gears on there unless you plan on running slicks in the back and plan on doing some clutch dumps.

even on dr's im told you should be doin the axels and differential... isnt the point in doin gears to hook up better? lol wouldnt you want the dr's at least after doing gears? then youd want the axels and diff if you plan on doing a launch higher then like 3000 rpms lol. so it kinda makes sense to do everything all at once doesnt it? in my opinion, there isnt really such a thing as a cheap performance mod lol
