Everytime I get online I try to go though the first page and just check how things are going in here. And it's not going very well

A few of you guys are being COMPLETE ******** pretty often and it's getting old. Instead of making some smart *** remarks as the first post in someones thread, try to relay your personal experience and opinion on the situation. Or don't say anything at all.

Some of the questions get old sometimes, but don't act like you knew everything since the beginning of time. You guys know that Noobs are easy to **** off and I think that's why you do it. Just chill and be helpful please.

I am 44 years old and VERY big on common courtesy. I have found that there is a disconnect when on blogs and some have no problem being shi*ty to others (this seems to get worse with each newer generation). I find NO reason for this and actually left Corner-Carvers and Performance Handling section for this reason.

Corner-Carvers is full of VERY knowledgeable people that have no use for n00b questions. That is pretty much fine as the site makes no bones about the way they treat "simple" questions. I just found it a less than freindly place to be. One particular person over in Performance Handling section that is extremely knowledgeable, but could wipe the entire internet of his posts and he would still be an ahole.

yea i agree.if you dont want to answer a dumb intake questions dont post and bash the OP.Let the other less-knowledgable guys(like me) help them out with the simple things because making fun of them isnt helping at all.With that being said there are people who just come on here and post ridiculous things that deserve to be corrected.

I agree , a lot of noobs get on here and ask a simple question who may not know about the search feat. and are hounded right out of the forums. Its lame when someone who shares the same interest in cars comes here to chat and is told to quit whining about being hounded or get out the forums. Thats lame , only mods have that right to present that option.

Am I one one of these AceHoles? I don't mind helping noobies out, but they can at least give us the courtesy to ask the right questions, in the right way. I have a rep for being hard on the new guys But some of these new guys are some of our best posters & contributers now.

If you don't think we deserve the respect then let us know. This isn't an attempt to argue I just want clarification.

 

i didnt read anything besides the OP, but i have a MAJOR problem with the mod who moved my picture thread out of this section a couple of days ago..

not only did i provide insight and a warning to people who are interested in the s281 wing, but i also wanted opinions from FELLOW 4.6 section members... I would be very angry if somebody did the same thing to their s281 wing that i did to mine simply bc my thread was MOVED into another section that had nothing to do with a 4.6 and installing the s281 wing

I understand the concept that picture threads shouldn't be allowed (which i think is ridiculous), but when there are 3 other threads that are still in the 4.6 General Section about PICTURES and programs to enhance pictures, i have a serious issue with mine being moved and not theirs (obviously not calling anyone out in any way)...

and i think that the thread should state which mod moves which thread so that i can confront them through PM's... i am not going into the issues/feedback section.. i want to have a talk with this mod bc i think that he is in the wrong, and i am in the right.. Whoever moved my thread had NO reason! it wasn't JUST a picture thread... yeah i'm ticked off so im sorry

thats all i wanted to say... if you are going to move my helpful thread with pictures and insight, than move the other threads that have absolutely nothing to do with a 4.6 in any way shape or form!!!
