Default Misfire?

When ever I floor it and go thru the gears, everytime i get back on it after switching gears, the car seems like it loses power. I dont hear a back fire of any kind, but I can hear the engine bog down, then it instantly gains power again. Could it be a fuel filter? The car has 63k on it and since I have owned it (2 years) it hasnt been changed. Plugs are only a year old and mods in my sig. Oh and its really noticable going from 2nd to third. Thanks in advance for any help.

No I have not had it tuned yet. It has the can Diablo tune but thats it. I also have a pp75mil throttle body that I just installed that I forgot to mention. It did this before that though.

im thinking its the A/F that needs adjustment, its getting alot more air with the intake (especially now with the throttle body) but without the tune, its probably running a little lean.

man I didnt even think about that. thanks for the info, the only thing is I would hate to get it on a dyno and tune it and its still screwed up lol

Also, I have had the intake on for almost 2 years and it never did this before...

ahhh if you take it to a mustang shop, it'll be fine.. they'll whip that thing into shape in probably an hour or two, (maybe like $250) and they'll save their tune on your Diablo.
and you'll get some hp/tq numbers to add to your sig! =)
