Default mirror replacement

Hi all… new here to the forum and it looks like it’s not only an amazing hook up but a tight family. SCORE!!!! I am a Physician Assistant and I work in surgery. The demands of surgery come very easy for me, but when it comes to my car, I don’t have a clue. So please bear that in mind should anyone want to post an answer for me. I have a 2000GT 4.6L that needed a passenger mirror replacement. It got taken out on the freeway by a motorcycle rider. Anyway, I have the replacement mirror. My question is this…since the car has deluxe speakers, which means there is a mirror next to the front passenger window in the corner, can I replace the mirror by removing the speaker to gain access to the bolts that hold it in place, or, do I have to remove the door panel? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, has anyone got a hook up in Los Angeles that would do an amazing, hard core, comprehensive tune up on my ride? Ford dealers are not an option to consider. Thanks.

You only have to take off your tweeter speaker that sits on the other side of the mirror. There are a few bolts that hold it it. Its a piece of cake to replace. In Rancho Cucamonga, there is a Mustang only shop called GTR High Performance, give them a call, great guys.
