I thought the 98's and 99-00's used the same belt pattern, no? I could be wrong, but whatever.

and Jvog, you can use whatever discharge you want, you just have to get creative with the piping.

I think he's saying he needs it for a 4.6,not a 3.8L. That link posted is to a 3.8 bracket.

Well his sig says he has a 3.8. I think he wants to know if a vortech off of a 4.6 98 gt will fit his car.

I thought that at first, but idk, if he's pushing 220hp NA out of a little 3.8 without a stroker, I think that his compression might be a tad too high for a blower, no?
his sig says he has a 2000 V6, he's asking about a 99, so i think he's talking about a different car

its for a 4.6l...just recently got it.....

but back to what the other guy was saying, i thought the samething about the 98-99 being the same(besides npi/pi)...fact or fiction?

they are pretty much the same motor minus the PI parts. You are still gonna need the 99 bracket tho

are you sure? I honestly think the 98's and 99's have the same timing cover. You should PM oxford or CliffyK and see if they know.

There's one bracket for 96-99 and then there's another for 00-04 so the 96-99 should work right?
