My wife wants me to build her a GTM but I don't know how I'm going to afford the money or the time till I'm out of Chiropractic College. One of the nicest looking fab cars today.

I have been kicking around the idea, but we'll just have to see. I think it will be at least 5 years before I could realistically think about it. But you know 50-60k is a used zo6 also. The GTM is drop dead gorgeous, but its a huge deal. I have alot of links on it if your interested, the biggest down side being some disappointment on fit and finish and the real power potential of the car, once you deviate from the FRR's plans its gets extremely complicated and expensive... a built 996 transaxle is like 10 grand by itself. But good lord they are soo hot its hard to talk myself out of it.

putting a v12 or v10 in the front is nothing compared to trying to setup a mid engine in a new edge. I would be more encouraging if wanted to try a twin engine or a rear electric motors or something... this idea is just not feasible.

I have a feeling that IF you were to somehow pull this off, the power and weight distribution problem would make this car so hideously undriveable that smart cars will be kicking you around. If you want to make a mustang a supercar, there are other ways to do it. Build that high hp 4v, do some serious suspension work, and work on the weight distribution.

OP, your Myspace page says you make 250k+ a year and although I highly doubt that true even if you're some sort of super professional paint ball player but if it is true, you're gonna need every dime of it.

just by a ford gt and put a mustang emblem on it that way it will say on the car its a Ford (Mustang) GT. and it will probably cost less even if you built the motor up to handle 1200 hp
