cool idea but unless you have loads of money. its stupid to me. your weight dist. would suck. you'd have to pretty much build the car from the groud up because you would obviously need chassis bracing for all the extra weight and power in that area. and then you have a huge pointless hood. and plus you'd be driving right beside the motor pretty much. not to mention the **** load of fabrication you'd have to do like drive shaft..transmission mounting..and it would be nearly impossible to turn the motor sideways unless you made a transaxle or something like that work. then if you wanted driveability you'd have to rerun all the power steering..a/c and accesorie stuff to the mtor and the radiator as well. which would then be in your lap by the time you got all of that stuff packing somewhere in there.

sounds cool to me..go for it! take lotsa pics

I'd just get a C5 Z06. I love mustangs, but the Z06 is very aerodynamic, and with a twin turbos, you're easily upwards of 800rwhp.. at that point you could break 200mph no problem and have insane acceleration. If you can dream it up though, why not go for it? Up to you.. I just think the Z06 would give you equal performance for lots less.

Wow ur a dreamer! The amount of time and money it would take would be ungodly lol. I would just buy a kit car, and stick a SICK motor in that, that would be awesome and you could make it ur own. Keep the pony ur dd.

I'm going to school to be a chiropractor (still have decads left) My wife is in college for Secondary education (high school English) and she now already makes about 25% more pre bonus than she will as a H/S teacher. She's got some decisions to make really soon.
