I recommend you go no more that 1.5" drop reguardless of road conditions or mods.
Going beyond this tends to create geometry issues in suspension.

You can get by on sportlines but i promise you, if you dont drive on the side of caution you WILL break something.

I agree with no more than an 1.5 drop. I lowered a car 2 in one time and it rode like crap. I had longtube headers on my car with it lowered 1.5 up front and it did fine. It scrubbed just a little over speed bumps.

its a toss up right now between the pro kit or H&R super sports. not sure what i want to do yet. ive heard people say that they dont see much of a drop with the pro kit. i want to get rid of the 4x4 look.

come on man everyone likes a 4x4 look out of their rwd v8!
I bought my springs from CJ pony parts the "pro kit" they say they're the same as the eibach springs, I got them for like 170 and they don't seem too low for me I've got a real steep drive way and a chin spoiler and don't scrap, you could always do some measuring though

You could just get your spindle raised, and bump steer and that will solve most of the geometry problems. that's what i did and it handles soo nice. i have about 2.25'' drop. just make sure you get it all properly done. i found a guy that works on all the scca race cars. if your in SoCal he does some good suspension work.
