Epic Noob needs your help!
Ok guys, heres the problem, I Have a 2003 Mustang Gt, Convertible with an auto (i know, i know, an auto, but its what i got). This is my first stang, (and only my second car). So basically what i am wondering is what can the tranny hold when it comes to mods (nothing drastic, just bolt ons) also if you had $1500 what would you do/ where would you start when it comes to mods?
I read the Noob parts thread but i couldn't find the answer i was looking for, sorry to have to ask, but bear with me im trying!

yea the auto will be fine , not fun but fine. Most bolt ons aren't worth much alone , they all ad up after awhile like 4 hp here and 8 hp there but are costly. I would def. get gears to give your mustang a good kick in the pants , they don't add no Hp but spin your wheels alot faster. The Cams are totally worth it IMO, you'll net up to 20 to 30 hp with a tune and plus they make your car sound bad ***. Check out Cushmans or Hitech cams , both very reputable and well priced. Plus the guy who makes Cushmans post on here.

^Yep.
The biggest mod for our Auto's is 4.10 gears, you'll be shocked at how much better the car is...Not only faster, but easier to drive around town as well.
But for $1500, you could get yourself a nice set of Stage 1 cams (Comp, CMS, Hitech, etc.) plus the install.
And like it's been said...avoid bolt-ons...They aren't worth the cost on our cars.
