Default Removing front sway bar??

For a DD, how much is the driveability affected by removing the front sway bar? Also, at what point do you stand to gain something from this? My only suspension mods so far are Strange 10 ways on all corners.

People do it for weight transfer to get a better launch. I wouldn't do it personally but I have heard of people doing it and not having huge DD issues.

Sorry, let me rephrase. I know what removing it does. I'm curious at what point this extra weight transfer becomes advantageous, if not always. I've got 4.10s that are going in and DRs on the car, I'm hoping for mid to low 13s. Will doing this help me get closer to what I'd like to see, or is this mod really more of something that's going to help a mid 12 car?

Well I would think it's kinda a yes and no kind of question. It will benefit you but it will probably just point out your next suspension weakness.

I haven't had a front sway bar for about 4 years and there is no driveability issues. It will do nothing for you if you don't have the rest of your suspension tuned.

+1. I've had mine off of my last two mustangs and never had any problems, but I do drive with some sense. You will get more leaning in turns but no biggie. And yeah it has to go w/ the rest of your suspension, set up for weight transfer off a lauch. It's pointless to do it if you will be running Eibach or H&R springs or something like that that will work against it.

No, none of that, I plan on going coilovers in the future, and hopefully in a few months do UCA/LCA's and maybe an anti roll bar.

Had mine off with lowering springs that were too low. Rub the tires in the turns. I had 18s with some pretty fat sidewall tires so that doesnt help. Definetly could feel and see the front lift more, thats for sure.
