Exclamation NPI Manifold

Intake Manifold cracked on my 98 GT. I'm not looking to do a PI swap, just replace the manifold with the aluminum crossover one. Where is the best online store to purchase this from that will ship to Canada? Thanks guys!

Check with a local autoparts store. If they sell dorman products they can get it for you. If you can't find one check with summit http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=RNB-6. You could also put a PI intake on it, the PI intake is cheaper http://store.summitracing.com/partdeta. Here are instructions for a PI intake on non PI heads http://www.americanmuscle.com/pi-intake-install.html

I would love to put a PI intake on, but I'm a little bit leary about the whole, adding a little bit of silicone bacause the gaskets don't quite fit right, thing lol. All the instructions seem to be a little vague on that part. Even with pictures, I just don't quite get it. The local stores want 350 - 450 for one.......

Thanks for the links, FORD TOUGH.

They make adaptors for the PI intake on the non PI motor but they are like $90 I guess you would be best of with the non-PI. I would be afraid of the silicone on the gaskets to.

dont dare tell him to put that crap on his car.

OP don't be a baby, just put the PI intake on your car and call it a day. Thousands of people have done it without fail. Just use PI gaskets and everything will be all good.

You think I'd get away with just PI gaskets, sxynerd??? Cause if the silicone isn't make it or break it I'll give it a shot. Anybody elso done it without extra silicone?

Yeah, I'm not worried about the other required parts, I just don't want to get everything bolted back together and be leaking more coolant all over the place. I shutter just thinking about it

It wont leak. When you install it it doesn't take more than a finger tip of sealant. You'll be alright if you just take your time and let the rtv get tacky.
