Question rearend or s/c.. OPINIONS PLEASE!

assuming they would cost the exact same amount of money, which would you do first, get 28 spline moser reinforced axels, 3.73 gears, and drag radials, or drop a supercharger. the supercharger is not a special deal, it would be available to me at any time, i just dont know if i should do the rear and tires first or the supercharger...what do you guys think?

man if you can afford it supercharge that pony. If having power when you want at the push of the throttle doesnt interest you then by all means do the rear. But you do that you will be left in the rear, lol.

lol, i know i know, the power, but is that the wise decision or is that just the little kid in all of us coming out and saying i wanna go fast, lol. like how will supercharging with the stock rear work out, like does anyone do that or is it like a fact that you should at least have your gears before you go and supercharge. i will be going to the track occasionally. when i do one ill do the other eventually but it may not be for another 6months or so.

get the supercharger. You will be much happier. Your stock axle, gears, etc... will be fine.

any time you build up to prevent you are doing something good. It really depends man. Everything is stock on my car and it runs fine...BUT i dont beat the **** out of it either. it does not take a s/c to trash your car man, you can do that just how it is now. There are people on here that have s/c their cars with everything else stock. So yes people do that.

s/c it. If you are gonna do the rear though, go with 31 spline not 28

If it's only the difference of 6 months, I do the rear and tires first, but that's just me. The gears are going to put you into boost quicker and the tires are going to help you to put that power to the ground. And like jvog said, if you're gonna spend the money to do it, do the 31 splines and throw a new differential in, that's what I'm having done.
