stock trans and rear end max hp?

Default stock trans and rear end max hp?

so i have the stock read end except for 4.10 gears in my 96 cobra and a stock t-45 and im putting a s/c on it soon and am worried about breaking somthing lol how much power yall think i can put through them?

They will hold enough for normal use.

The real question is, do you plan on going to the track on anything stickier than a street tire? If you plan on some sticky tires and launching at a high RPM then you better build it now and get it over with.

no i plan on pretty much only using street tires for now. but my supercharger is a vortech t-trim and im thinking im gunna hit over 500 hp ya think stock trans will hold?

Yea it will hold for a while, lol. It just completely depends on how you plan on driving that 500HP. If your a big powershifter then its probably not gonna last long. If you only plan on hittin the track a couple times on street tires then I would think that you would be fine.

There are no guarantees though man, your just gonna have to be prepared to replace it if it does break. The stock components were made for 300HP(give or take a few) so when you start throwin 200 more at it, it's likely that something is gonna break if you beat on it.

70k mi on trans and rear 20k on motor

Well its kind of a crap shoot. I would drive the ***** off of it until it breaks and then build it stronger
