For what ever reason my car seems to be a 1/2" higher on the passenger side front and back.
What would happen if I took out the Iso's on the passenger side front and back when I put my front drop coils in and my arms in the back and left the Iso's in on the drivers side?

If I did that, my car should be even on both sides.

Mine have been out well over a year and they don't wear out the metal. That's silly, they don't even have any friction to wear them out since they are compressed all the time and don't move. Hell, my black coating on my Prokit is still just as new as the day they were put in the car. I've had my springs out about a dozen times.

I didn't feel a difference when I only had the fronts out. When I took the rears out I did feel more NVH but quickly forgot all about it.

Sorry, i dont have an answer for you, but mine is like that also. Ive been told that the springs may not be correctly aligned in the spring perch and thats whats causing the "lean".

On a side note, wrap the end coils in duct tape to reduce NVH.

sorry, i didn't want to go off topic in someone elses thread. First thing I'd check is if you're springs are clocked the same way. Next thing I would do is pull them our and check for the same unsprung height and if possible check the sprung pressure.

also check to see if the isolators are worn out. (notorious problem for rubber isolators due to drying out)

LOL you seriosuly crack me up sometimes..

Dude, come help me with my car.. i still need to do the clutch quadrant/firewall adjuster, and i want to take out my isos

your car was low as it was with iso's... i cant wait to see it now...

How long does it take/how hard is it to remove the springs and take out the iso's? is there a write up to it? My friend and i are planning on knocking this out for my car and i hope its not a long/tedious process..

oh yeah, and what is "NVH"?

yeah its cake dude, i took out the sway bar, bottom isos, put caster camber plates in, remounted hid ballasts on the frame while the bumper was off. i think its under 10 bolts a side counting lug nuts haha.

and i live 5min from atco, i think you should be coming here ill help you and then well head over there haha.

- break loose lugs and nut on top of strut while its on the ground.
- jack up one side and put jack stand under the car. then come back and put the jack under the a-arm until its supporting it.
- pull out the brake lines and theres one that you need to unbolt the bracket.
- Drop tire rod
- take bolt off top of sturt (if you dont have the jack under the a-arm fully supporting it your in trouble haha)
- slowly lower the jack so the it decompresses the spring.
- at that point you should be able to pull the spring out, take off isos and put it all back together.

(im sitting in class so if i missed a step, im sorry)
