Default Spring Isolator Question

I just got my springs and cc plates and have heard of people not keeping the isolators in. Now from what I understand this lowers it even more. I also heard of people keeping 2 out of the 4 isolators in. I know the benifit to this is that it lowers it even more but what are the bad things that can happen? Is this worth doing?

I believe it is very loud without them and the metal will eventually get eaten up by then rubbage.

guys, ive had my isolators out for almost 2 months now, i did a road trip over spring break which took 1700 miles, i had no problems what so ever, not any louder, not any harsher, and it did lower it about 1/4 in. farther. i know it did beccause i only removed the fronts and i had to re-aim my projector headlights. first hand experience goes a long ways guys, no problems, jsut pull em out and call it good. technically you should get an alignment, but with that small of a drop you should be fine.

ford put them in for a reason. if your just looking for a small drop why dont you just cut 1/8 coil and leave em in?

and what is the reason they put them in for? ride quality correct? imo they will hinder the turning and stability a little bit because they "give" when you turn, or they squish down. which would equal less responsive. whether thats true or not, dont quote me, just my thoughts. but why not take em, its not going to hurt a thing.

yeah i though about that after i posted. i dont know the reason either or even if its a good reasonlol.
i was just giving him another option if he wanted a small drop.
he has to pull the springs out either way so he could do one or the other. and technically doesnt springs by their very nature squish and give.
