anyone know which optima battery will work on a 96 gt? I looked around and it seems they dont make a battery just for my car, but I figure one will work and was wondering if anyone knew

 

come on guys I cant believe your all still running stock batteries. I know there is another company that makes dry cell batteries but I cant remember the name. ooh look there is an optima advertisement here but wait they dont make a battery for the mustang so what gives?

 

im pretty sure theyre type 34 battery will work for you, they are kinda a "one size fits all" but i wouldsuggest getting a red top, unless your cars running 10 tv screens and 4 amps, you may need the yellow top.

they come with a couple extra pieces to help you utilize the stock brackets, i had to cut my stock holder a little to accept the length of the battery.

or you can scrap the whole stock idea and purchase an optima hold down bracket.
