A joke is never funny after you explain it but I know it's not a Cobra. (The giveaway was his in his sig, the fact that he said was a V6 that say V6 and everyone talking about it.) I was making fun of him because I think his car looks like......"insert clever and mean comment here".
You only don't have a voice in "our" house (not "My" house) if you haven't contributed to the community with a good sound mind, appreciative attitude and well thought out posts.
And my GT is heavily modified so that's that part of the joke.

sorry i just thought you took a quick glance at the sig and did not read his list of mods. I don't pull punches. his car looks like complete A$$ and is an embarrassment to all mustangs everywhere and especially to the cobra that he so badly wants to be that he pretends. Do that car a favor and put it out of its misery.

And I was thinking about getting an 03-04 Cobra rear bumper they look better than the GT bumper.

It's your car. You can put whatever bumpers on it that you want, though you can't obligate the insurer to pay for anything more than what was already on the car. You either have to find the Cobra bumpers for the same price, pay the difference, or forgo repairing something else. Since you're being paid by the other person's carrier the check will be made out to you and you only. The insurer could care less if you fixed the car and would actually prefer you blow the money on something else so they don't have to worry about supplements for hidden damage.

i personally don't like the 03 cobra bumper... it looks weird on a gt... but whatever....

IMO theres nothing wrong in putting a cobra bumper on a gt as long as the car isnt badged as a cobra or have cobra imprinted on the bumper . The truth of the matter is that there isnt many aftermarket options when trying to personalize the new edges(unlike the s197)that even looks decent(stalker is a p.o.s).I like the cobra parts more than roush,saleen,steeda. My cobra front bumper besides giving me the looks that i want also has plenty of space for an intercooler when i install the blower. The fogs help light up the roads at night alot better than the stock gt fogs did.
