ok well i just ordered the vvme HID kit...the one with Hi and Low....lol the HID thread made me do it.... so now to just order covers i suppose....where can i find them? and $150 for HID plus covers is worth it to me to get darker lights

i dont want to order them from AM, since AM has crazy high prices

also, i found customer pics of the covers...how hard is it to remove the gts logo

probably a real fine wet sand and buff would do the trick.

they suck at night i always took mine off at night

the gts logo is easy to take off get a razor blade and get the edge of one up and just carefully pull them off and use goo gone to get rid of the glue

they are easy to pull off
open the hood undo the velcro and some you may have to pull the tabs that hold the head lights in and move the headlight a little to get the tabs out from under the light

I personally didnt have any problems driving at night with the covers on the car. You will notice a difference but its not horrible. They just snap into place, only takes a couple of seconds to remove or install them (no velcro needed). I don't use mine any more. If you haven't ordered them yet, I'll let them go for $35 shipped.

www.retrosolutions.com for your hids. digital ballast, high beam/low beam, lifetime warranty, great survice, get the 55 watt and they are bright as hell... i only use my fog lights when driving at night because i got the 55 watt 8000k's in there in the rosuh bumper....sooo bright...my headlights are like unnecessarily bright, lol, perfect if going with covers.

i had black headlight covers on my stang for a while. they looked good during the day, but absolutey sucked at night. it worse than driving with sunglasses on and no headlights! they held themselves on by the way they were shaped. i got them off ebay i think?
