Default Quad Shock Question

hey guys, haven't posted in a while but i got a question about my quad shocks, they started leaking so i asked around for some prices and the dealer is asking around $60, not bad. My question is that do they make aftermarket quad shocks? Also, my buddy had a 03 cobra and he said that he took them off and it made no difference in the ride. So can i just get away with just taking them off?

btw i have a 03 gt

thanks.

If your buddy had an '03 Cobra, he never had quad-shocks so he must be confused.

You can run without them, but I recommend you upgrade the LCA's to compensate a bit.

Lakewood makes them to. If there's no reason to take them off I'd leave em on
